Class is in session - I took myself back to school to meet with Jessie Randall and Brian Murphy from Loeffler Randall. Sharing my notes here so we can all discuss in the comments.
I adore LR, really enjoyed reading the piece. I have more shoes than RTW pieces, mainly for two reasons, I am in the UK and shipping costs can be higher for these pieces, so taking a gamble on fit can be expensive if it doesn’t work out. And their shoe sizes are quite inclusive, going from UK3 - UK10. Would love to see their RTW expand their sizing too, as I currently can purchase tops, and loose dresses, but nothing fitted like the Demi pant as a UK18 ❤️❤️❤️
These are great insights on the RTW and I love hearing from someone in the UK audience. Totally makes sense that it is more challenging to deal with shipping etc.
Loved this and I couldn't be more thrilled that Jessie is on Substack! The first pair of designer shoes I ever bought myself were LR (francie knot sandals in 2012!). I've celebrated a lot big moments in a pair of LR shoes over the years. I can't wait to see what else is to come with their RTW. And I love that you totally predicted their upcoming interiors collab!
Such a Jessie Randall + Loeffler Randall fan—so happy she's here on Substack. LR pieces feel like they have such a distinct POV yet are endlessly wearable. (I wore my Isla boots for YEARS!) I've mostly bought their shoes up until this point but excited to see their RTW too. That chore jacket looks like a gorg transition piece!
This piece was so good. I love Loeffler Randall and have several pairs of boots. Their shoes are high quality and the pricing feels right. I have always been a shoe fan but never have purchased the clothing. I am on the waitlist for the carpenter pants as they are sold out in my size. Thank you for this deep dive.
Those pants are so good!!! My fingers are crossed for you. And I still have four pairs of Loeffler Randall shoes that are probably 15 years old. Love them!
This article is genius! So honored to be featured. Sending these opportunity ideas to my team STAT. Xx Jessie
Thank you!! It was so much fun to chat with you and get a peek behind the curtain of a brand I have admired for (wow!!!) 20 years ❤️
