TRR's new instagram posts made me think of SSENSE literally immediately. I really like it, but hope it will evolve into a slightly more original idea and fit for them. But still really fun to see!

Ughh I wish new Levis weren’t such garbage - they last about a year before they bust somewhere. My biggest fear is that they will have some huge focus shift to buying up all the old Levis and we’ll run out. How many vintage Levis could be left (I always wonder)??

oh this is interesting. Levi's resurgence being vintage vs new. and the challenge that new isn't as quality as vintage. would like to make sure that new is super solid for the price point. I don't want Levi's to ever feel like a fast fashion brand - that isn't who they are.

Sarah, have you ever heard the old joke: Jewish holidays are never on time, they are either "so early" or "so late" ;) I laugh every time I say it.

My current favorite jeans are Levi’s 90s 501 selvedge. They were bought on line because when I went into the local Levi store, which is 90% jeans, and I asked the sales associate which jeans had a 10Ish rise she had no idea. I’m sorry, I get that this is probably not your dream job, but if you sell jeans you need to have at minimum a cheat sheet that list the rise of all the different cuts. If Levi’s really wants to grow they need to train and educate their team/staff better.
