I wonder if the (relative, I'm sure) failure of Goop's Target beauty line played a part. Target hasn't promoted it since its launch, none of the Substackers I follow in the fashion /beauty lane ever mention it. I think I saw one review (maybe in The Cut). I bought the serum when it was on promo a few weeks after launch, it was fine but never bought a second bottle.
GAP has closed so many stores, I'm wondering if they are counting on online vs brick and mortar to sell his collection, like the Doen collab. I do shop Old Navy for basics for my young adult son, so will definitely check it out when it launches.
The gap is looking good too! In regards to goop, sometimes it’s best to not overextend and stick to core basics that always sell! The economy is really tough right now. Especially for the middle class. I’ll buy beauty and fashion before I go on a trip at this point in time. Staycations and looking decent.
